My thoughts:
I have been a huge fan of Mesu Andrews for a couple of years and know that when I read her novels that she will bring the scripture to life before my eyes. I can visualize what was happening through her vivid descriptions.
I admit to not being a reader of Biblical Fiction until I started reading her books because I gain more insight to the story she's telling and I when I read scripture I seem to understand it better. I loved Shulle and Manasseh even through the ups and downs of their relationship. The author took a creative license by giving Manasseh autism which I found interesting but made me like him a bit more as he grew older.
Overall, I thought this novel was outstanding and as always Mesu Andrews has written anther must read novel.
If you are already a fan of this genre or searching for something you normally don't read than I recommend reading this book or any other penned by Ms. Andrews.
