What a page turner Deadly Christmas Pretense is. I seriously had a hard time putting this book down because I didn't want to miss out on one single detail in this suspenseful novel. I knew the action would still be there if I stopped reading but I just kept getting pulled into the storyline. Ms. Mentink has a way of doing that in every book that I read of hers.
Liam Pike is the perfect hero for Maggie Lofton, even if she doesn't realize it at first but you cant really blame her for keeping her distance from him as she pretends to be her twin sister, sinceis he is her twins ex-boyfriend. I absolutely loved this storyline and the wonderful characters.
There's enough action and suspense to hold your interest throughout this fast paced, and wonderfully written book. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
